Welcome to The Everest Tandoori & Balti House
The Everest Balti House is situated in the heart of Cheltenham just few minutes walk from the main High Street and large car park in Portland Street. The restaurant is very spacious and relaxing and can seat in excess of 150 people. The original Regency building was once lived in by John Goding, 1855-1879, who wrote the first history of cheltenham.
The Everest has been in the Hussain family for 23 years and has just under gone a complete refurbishment. It was originally called the Everest Mughal Cuisine and over the years it has became affectionately known as The Everest. In the 23 years The Everest has been in Cheltenham, it has always had strong links with the people of Cheltenham Town and has seen two generations of Cheltonian's come through its doors. Now the children bring their parents for an evening out.
The Everest is equally popular with local people and diners from a wide area. The Everest has built up an excellent reputation for food, whether it be a romantic meal for two or a party to celebrate a special event.
